About

The Kakobuy Jersey Room publishes hands-on jersey testing. Our testing team orders the jerseys, wears them, washes them and measures them before anything is scored. If a jersey is in an article, it was ordered, received and handled by a member of the desk.

We score on a five-point scale where 5 is the maximum. Scores are written as X / 5 and follow the band: 5 excellent, 4 good, 3 adequate, 2 poor, 1 very poor. Hands-on scores for tested jerseys sit between 4.0 and 5.0 because we only write up jerseys that clear our basic checks for stitching, print adhesion and care-label accuracy; a jersey that fails those checks is reported in the sizing notes and excluded from the scored table.

Fabric weight, stitch counts and measurements are taken by the desk, not copied from a seller listing. Where a seller's size chart conflicts with our tape, we print both numbers and say which one we measured. Prices and order timings are recorded on the day of the order and dated.

We do not accept payment for a score. Sponsored placements, when they exist, are labelled above the article and kept out of the scored tables. Corrections are logged publicly on the corrections page.
