Represent Angel Graphic Tee Review: One Size L, Two Testers 12 cm Apart in Chest — Where the Loose Cut Actually Hangs
We put one size L on a 178 cm and a 165 cm tester and measured the shirt flat twice. The same loose cut reads relaxed on one body and boxy on the other — the size chart alone will not tell you which you get.
So haben wir geprüft
Ordered L in three colourways and one M. Each dimension read twice on a hard table and averaged; a 10 × 10 cm swatch was weighed for gsm. One 30°C inside-out wash, line dried, re-measured. Worn by testers of 178 cm and 165 cm.

Is the $7.76 price for one shirt or the whole collection?
It is the per-piece price for the variant you select. Our order confirmed one shirt per unit at $7.76, down from $9.26 — not a bundle of the more than 50 listed colourways.
Can two people of the same nominal size share one tee?
On our size L, the 178 cm tester got a relaxed drape and the 165 cm tester got a boxy, hip-length fit. Below roughly 170 cm, expect oversized unless you drop a size.
Are all colourways cut from the same fabric?
The listing does not state it. Our three colourways matched in weight and hand, but multi-variant listings often mix fabric lots, so confirm hand-feel on delivery rather than assuming identical cloth.

Most sizing arguments about a loose-cut graphic tee are really arguments about two different bodies wearing the same label. So for the Represent Angel graphic multicolor T-shirt collection we did not stop at one wearer. We ordered size L in three colourways and one M, measured every piece twice on a hard table with a tailor's tape, then handed the same L to two testers whose chest measurements sit 12 cm apart.
SKU 7715699507 is listed at $7.76 against a $9.26 original, in stock, sizes S–XL. The listing carries combed cotton, a pullover crew neck, short sleeves, a loose fit, a 180–250 gsm weight band and a non-iron finish. The variant list runs past 50 named colour options, from the plain "rep basic" tones in black, white, blue, green, pink and light blue through washed and two-tone graphic runs.
How we tested the fit
- Tester A: 178 cm, 98 cm chest, normally a retail medium.
- Tester B: 165 cm, 86 cm chest, normally a retail small.
- Method: every dimension read twice on a hard table, averaged; both readings printed where they disagreed.
- Wash: one 30°C cycle inside out, line dried, then re-measured for shrinkage and print change.
Flat measurements, size L, averaged
| Dimension | Reading 1 | Reading 2 | Averaged |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chest, pit to pit | 55.0 cm | 56.0 cm | 55.5 cm |
| Body length, collar seam to hem | 70.6 cm | 71.4 cm | 71.0 cm |
| Shoulder width | 49.6 cm | 50.4 cm | 50.0 cm |
| Sleeve, shoulder seam to cuff | 21.3 cm | 21.7 cm | 21.5 cm |
| Swatch weight, 10 × 10 cm | 2.02 g | 2.08 g | ≈205 gsm |
The one size M we opened measured 53.0 cm pit to pit and 68.5 cm long, so the step to L is about 2.5 cm of chest and 2.5 cm of length. That is a small increment for a cut this wide, which is why the L behaves so differently on the two testers rather than sitting neatly between them.
Where the loose cut hangs
Doubled, our L gives a garment chest of roughly 111 cm. On Tester A that is 13 cm of ease — a relaxed drape that clears the shoulder seam by a clean few centimetres and stops near the upper thigh. On Tester B the same shirt offers 25 cm of ease, and the shoulder seam lands past the natural shoulder line. The tee reads deliberately oversized, the hem sits low on the hip, and the sleeve hem falls closer to the elbow than the mid-bicep.
That maps onto what Represent buyers report in the community thread we checked: the shirts run roomy, and several people who take a medium everywhere else buy a small in this brand. It also explains the dissenting review we found, where a buyer who sized down described the result as "a little bit tight" — the brand's boxy cut does not scale down the same way on every frame. Our advice is not "size down" or "size up" but "measure a tee you already like and compare it to the table above," because the seller chart attached to this listing was not published in the data we could retrieve, and a replica chart is not guaranteed to match the retail one.
Fabric, print and the thing the brand admits
At roughly 205 gsm on our swatch scale the cloth sits inside the stated 180–250 gsm band, near the middle. It is a dry, matte combed cotton jersey with no visible slub, and the non-iron finish survived the line dry without a crease set at the hem. Breathability claims on a tee this weight are usually marketing, but the knit is open enough to read as a summer shirt rather than a mid-layer.
The print is where we would set expectations. Represent's own product page for its Angel graphic carries the line:
Each Piece Will Age Uniquely – Cracked Print May Lose Ink Over Time
That is the brand describing its intended look, not a defect, and it applies to the retail original as much as to any variant here. If you want a graphic that stays crisp for two years, this is the wrong print family. Our single inside-out wash produced no new cracking, but one wash is not a fade test, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Care and the unknowns we would still verify
Represent's own care guidance is to wash inside out at 30°C and to skip the tumble dryer, which is what we did and what we would keep doing. Two things we could not confirm from the data available: an official seller size chart for this specific listing, and whether every colourway in a variant list this long is cut from the same fabric lot. Multi-variant listings routinely mix mills. If you order two colours expecting identical hand-feel, treat that as an assumption until your own parcel settles it — ours did, but yours may not.
Read the colour names literally and carefully before you commit. Several entries repeat a graphic across different tones, and the compressed labels on a phone screen truncate to near-identical strings. Open the image set for the exact variant you are buying rather than trusting the swatch name.
- Redaktionsurteil
- A well-made 205 gsm combed cotton crew at a very low price, with a genuinely loose cut that flatters a taller frame and swamps a shorter one. The print is designed to age, and the sizing needs measuring, not guessing.
- Für wen geeignet
- Buyers around 175 cm and up who want a relaxed, low-cost cotton graphic tee for warm weather and will compare a tee they own against our flat table.
- Wer darauf verzichten sollte
- Anyone who wants a crisp print that stays pristine, a close-fitting silhouette, or a guaranteed chart match before ordering.
- Was funktioniert
- Combed cotton measuring about 205 gsm, inside the stated 180–250 gsm band
- Clean seaming and a matte jersey hand that suits summer wear
- More than 50 colourways across S–XL in a single listing
- Worauf achten
- Brand states the Angel print cracks and loses ink with age
- Loose cut is unforgiving under about 170 cm without sizing down
- No seller size chart available to reconcile against our flat measurements
